Careers in ICT
It's that time of year when education is starting to prepare for next year's intake in schools and colleges. Following a city wide promotion to all secondary schools in the Birmingham area, Matthew Boulton College held an careers evening for next years would be students. UKITA was present to promote awareness and membership. Peter Kemp of Birmingham ICT Practice and UKITA Birmingham member gave a short presentation about the benefits UKITA brings to it's members and to offer a taste of the rewards available to ICT practitioners. The evening had planned 2 or 3 presentations, but more benefit was gained taking to students individually about their own personal aspirations.
