De Montfort University have a large Computer
Science and Engineering faculty, and also
cover a wide range of other ICT related
subjects in the faculties of Art & Design
and Business & Law.
We are active in encouraging students, staff
and graduates to consider enterpise and
starting a business as a positive option.
Our Innovation Centre supports 18 small
businesses, mainly with a high-tech or
strong ICT focus.
We actively encourage interaction between
students, faculties and business to ensure
that academic expertise and practical skills
can be shared to mutual benefit.
Many of our specialist resources can be made
available to businesses, often at little or
no charge.
We offer a wide range of short courses in
many ICT topics, along with many business
and design areas. We are world leaders in
the specialist design areas of contour
fashion and footwear design.
