UKITA successfully delivered an EU funded ICT CIP project from April 2010 to late 2012.
The project aims were to promote RFID technology systems and solutions to Europe's SMEs. The emphasis was on managing the return on investment, showcasing RFID as a viable technology solution option for the future.
This project was called RFID-ROI-SME. The project website is at http://www.rfid-sme.eu. The project ran 8 exclusive SME end-user pilot trials that produced case study documents and guides. 6 EU Countries were involved, with an Association, SME integrator and SME end-user for each.
UKITA was involved in the research, report writing, dissemination and promotion activities, delivering an Events Programme in late 2011 and 2012.
