In line with Active Communications total
commitment to customer satisfaction we
recognise the importance of a comprehensive
quality programme. As part of the effort to
achieve this, a detailed Quality Manual is
in operation, conforming to BS EN - ISO 9002
standards with the cabling installations
being carried out in accordance to the
International Standard ISO/IEC 11801.

At Active Communications we have a set of
guidelines which we adhere to ensure that
each installation is a success. All of our
projects stick to these few but basic
principles and these criteria along with our
experience in handling cables ensures
successful installation. The skill involved
in laying a quality system can not be
understated, a bad bend or break in the
cables can be time consuming to locate and
costly to rectify. Active Communications
engineers always strictly observe the bend
radii and pulling tension when handling
cables.

Every installation undertaken however large
or small, from single outlet exentions to
mutiuser systems Active will apply the same
high level of professional care. Active will
ensure that:

• The installation is always completed
within a strict time frame

• It is completed to our quotation and
to the customers’ exact specifications,
there are no surprise alterations or
additional costs

• On completion the installation is
fully documented and tested

We have access to a wide range of
connectors, cable and components. Advice and
technical help on the choice of connector,
cable or terminator is always readily
offered. As an independent source of supply
customers can be assured of impartial
advice, Active will only recommend the
product that best suits the end user’s needs.

The cabling and components used in all our
installations are covered by a 25-year
guarantee. Any quality concern with the
standard of installation is instantly
rectified, faulty equipment immediately
replaced.
