WMita Black Country Branch

Developing New Business Opportunities

There are now more than 30 members in the Black Country Branch covering all aspects of Information and Communications Technology; hardware, software development, networking and business support services.

The Branch Committee, under the chairmanship of Nigel Babb, is focused on developing new business opportunities for the membership.

  • We have achieved substantial local press coverage for Branch and member activities
  • Our programme of social events known as 'Black Country Offline' are growing a reputation as an excellent networking series - unfortunately one or two waistlines are growing too due to the eat all you want buffets, but you can't have everything!
  • We have created strong links with a variety of local organisations to ensure that potential customers are increasingly aware of the existence of high tech suppliers "on their doorstep".
  • The massive networking opportunities provided at both branch and regional level have resulted in business wins. Either with other WMita / UKita members, in partnership or as a result of events and promotion that WMita / UKita provides to us all.

We look forward to helping you develop your business!
