UKITA Projects is delivering an EU funded ICT PSP (like FP7) project from April 2010 to May 2012.
The project aims to promote RFID technology systems and solutions to Europe's SMEs. The emphasis is on managing the return on investment, showcasing RFID as a viable technology solution option for the future.
This project is called RFID-ROI-SME. The project website is at http://www.rfid-sme.eu. The project runs 8 exclusive SME end-user pilot trials that will produce case study documents and guides. 6 EU Countries are involved, with an Association, SME integrator and SME end-user for each.
UKITA is involved in the research, report writing, dissemination and promotion activities, delivering an Events Programme in late 2011 and 2012. A website is being built to publicise the research, promote the technology, showcase a UK RFID Supply Register and to encourage SME RFID interaction and this will be launched in May 2011.
