Caroline works at the Centre of Information Intelligence and Security Systems (CIISS) at Staffordshire University. She conducts postdoctoral applied research by investigating the applications of Intelligent Computing and Informatics to solve real life problems. She is currently managing a range of business university collaborative research projects in the areas of healthcare, security and social care. Among them includes: developing 2 inventions, FP7 projects, and several other national and international collaborations. Caroline identifies appropriate funding relevant to the areas of interest, and lead/coordinate bid writing. She has, and is currently developing and managing, national and international enterprise, consultancy and commercial partnerships.
Caroline is keen to support UKITA members to be innovative, solve certain business problems which require computer science expertise, identify current funding opportunities and their corresponding research proposal development. In addition, Caroline has various business links in developing countries and Europe in which the UKITA members could benefit from.
