Following a successful introductory seminar on Social Media Marketing held in November, the Black Country branch of UKITA has organised three master classes focussing on different aspects of social media. The first master class is Blogging for Business.


Blogging is now over 10 years old but it is still relatively under-used by mainstream businesses. Yet there is still no quicker and more cost effective way to get a message out and engage with a group of people than a blog. Blogging can be used to:

• differentiate your business, products and services - stand out from the crowd
• attract more prospects and new business opportunities
• promote your business through the Media and online Public Relations
• improve Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
• research and develop new Markets, Products or Niches
• Improve communication channels to your market
• enhance your corporate brand
• position yourself as the Expert and enhance your personal brand
• improve internal communications

This Blogging for Business master class will cover ideas for your business to help you get the most from blogging. A laptop will be required to get the most from this practical course as there will be an opportunity to put into practice some of the ideas from the event.
